Take a virtual tour of my office

Main work desk, book posters, assorted goodies
I'm always talking about working from home -- my incense, my candles, my stuff. So I thought today I'd invite you all in for a virtual visit. Now you'll know where I'm coming from.

Deadline/assignment board and feather boa

Bookshelf/sacred space

St. Francis portrait from Subiaco

Quiet corner/prayer bench
Detail

Overview of one side
Some of my favorite items from the shelves of my two bookcases...
Buddha eyes box (incense stored inside)

Prayer shelf

Merton and more

Relics of St. Francis de Sales and Jane de Chantal

VanGogh and Jane de Chantal, an unlikely combo

Random stuff that gives you insights into my wackiness....

Angels and battery candles

Gumby, icons, and prayer books, oh my.

Photos, collages, social justice statements

Newest saint

Hemingway, Tibetan prayer flags, icon of Dorothy Day
If you're ever in the neighborhood, stop by for a real visit so you can smell the incense and hear the music. :-)

This was fun to see! I smiled at the photo of the relics of St. Francis de Sales and Jane de Chantal since you just mentioned them.

Next time you are at Telecare I definitely owe you a tour of the downstairs so you can see where the non-administrative side works all day! :-)

Mary, I've been to your house, but I have not seen your office... until now! Thanks, I love your space, it is wonderful.

Fran,

You'll have to come back and breathe in the incense. :-) Stay tuned for the home office sequel tomorrow.

Jessica,

Yes, you have to show me your office when I'm there next time. I think my office says so much about me. I love to see where people work. :-)

See you soon (although not soon enough -- See, you were right. You said I'd want to come back sooner.)

Wow, Mary, your office gives me some envy! Is it always that organized? I also love the nice sunny color. Thanks for the peek into your workspace.

Nancy,

It is almost NEVER this organized. I think that's why I was inspired to grab the camera. Who knows when it will look this neat again?!?
