Greetings from Denver

It's been a long but wonderful day at the "Living the Catholic Faith Conference" in Denver. I'll be sharing details of this adventure some time soon, but for now you can check out my brief post on the first day of the jam-packed conference at OSV Daily Take by clicking HERE.

Howdy, thank you for your talk today in Denver, Co! It was very interesting to hear what I have been asking my poor mother for years. When I lived a Cursillo retreat, I cried for days wondering why my mother never told me about Our Lord. As a child, I remember watching her pray. Walking in on her on her knees, praying the rosary but I was never invited to pray nor was I guided.... I remember, not too long ago, I asked her why she never told me the mercy and love I could have knowing God and she looked so shocked and hurt. It actually bothered me even more because I sincerely thought she was playing innocent... my shock today is that I owe my poor Mom and apology! She truly did her best and really was not taught herself and didn't know that she hadn't taught us. Thank God for HIS mercy! and thank you for today. rl
